Ruth Barry is a Dublin-based visual artist and set/installation designer. Her work spans from filmmaking to photography, painting and sculpture, as well as theatre production. Since graduating from Trinity College Dublin in 2013, she has worked as the art director for several indie short film productions, including The Beauty of Ballybrack and has collaborated with photographers, both fine art and commercial. She oversaw the creation of visual content for clients Heineken and Circle K. She has recently teamed up with international performance makers to develop Anatomalia - a dance/theatre experience backed by the Canada Council for the arts.

 

Her artwork has been featured at the 3 Walls Gallery in Dublin and she was the artist-in-residence at Queens Collective in Marrakech and at Ponderosa in Brandenburg.
